Brief: to create an electric autonomous vehicle with an additional function focussing on the phrase: 'more human, human-less'. With Audi showing particular interest in V2X. 

Response: Ancora: An electric modular houseboat made for coastal tidal areas in the UK in 2050, making dead space liveable with rising sea levels being a pressing issue at the time designed for. Achieved through self levelling at low tide on uneven ground, ability to add rooms/exchange the hull without the room and taking full advantge of emerging technologies.

Using the latest design platforms for CAD, TORROS products offer you a wealth of features. Most design is done in Solid works.

Over 50% of product involves some element of  customisation, be it a small dimension change or a taylor made tool. When this is required we accurately translate your requirements into drawings for  discussion and approval prior to manufacture.

After sales are supported by clear manuals to enable easy identification on parts. Standard parts are held in stock and available to despatch up to 3pm same day. Manufacturing consistency is obtained by working with our suppliers and by the use of CNC equipment and precision jigs.'

Brief: Design a furniture repair kit that transforms the repair process into an engaging and rewarding activity, shifting the focus away from the repair itself and creating a more enjoyable user experience. 

Response: Repaired with no tools and using only 2 easy to learn knots as to increase access ability. It is customisable therefore creating a sentimental attachment to the product which will increase longevity along with the overcoming of frustration at points furthers this feeling of emotional attachment.

Brief: to design a baby monitor that empowers women

Response: A baby monitor made to help parents find their rhythm, not routine through portability, ergonomics, ease of use and minimal features.

Brief: How can future urban homes accommodate for increased frequency of heatwaves?

Response: Through offering self sufficiency in part by growing nutritious crops indoors powered by solar panels or outside when the weather permits, extending this ability in extreme heat by the use of photochromic glass. The materials used and ease of assembly makes it affordable, repairable with local resources and easy to transfer from in to out.
